Autumn Sangria Recipe

Autumn stirs up so many warm and fuzzy feelings for me. Football games, fall leaves, crisp air and the scent of pumpkin spice come to mind. Nothing is more cozy than curling up with your honey and an autumn cocktail, so I am gifting you one my faves.

If you are having a fall wedding, sangria is wonderful signature drink option. Check out these cute names:

Cheers to a happy autumn season!

In a large pitcher, combine the first seven ingredients; refrigerate overnight. Add club soda before serving. Serve over ice.

Ingredients

1 medium orange, halved and thinly sliced

1 medium apple, quartered and thinly sliced

1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries

1/2 cup orange liqueur

1 bottle (32 ounces) cranberry juice

1 bottle (750 ml) light white wine such as pinot grigio

1 cup simple syrup

1/2 cup club soda

GARNISHES:

Add thinly sliced oranges, apples and fresh cranberries frozen or unfrozen and a sprig of mint, optional
