Q&A with Caitlin
Q. How did you meet?
A. Nathan and I met during college at the University of Arkansas, through a mutual friend - they were roommates . I fibbed about liking his favorite show, "The Office," so I had a reason to come over and hang out with him more!
Q. What your vision for your wedding day was in your own words?
A. I was inspired by a wedding portrait of my great aunt who was married in the early 1950's. I wanted a classic, simple and elegant aesthetic - timeless and beautiful, like her portrait.
Q. What was your favorite part of your wedding day?
A. My favorite wedding day memory was walking down the aisle - I was with my father, who I was so happy to have next to me even though he hates crowds. I saw Nathan waiting for me with a smile on his face, and the room was filled with our family and friends. I'm a "softie" for a feel good moment, and I almost started crying right then!
Q. Do you have any tips for future brides?
A. Ladies - don't let the little details drag you down! Do a few small things each week, and don't sweat the small stuff. At the end of the day, you will be married, and those pesky little details you agonized over will be the last thing you remember.
